No. Your account is a randomly generated 16-digit token. We never ask for your email, name, or phone number. Payments are processed by Stripe — we only see the subscription status, not your card details.
The Windows Firewall kill switch immediately blocks all outbound traffic except to the VPN endpoint, preventing IP leaks. The auto-reconnect watchdog then attempts to re-establish the tunnel with exponential backoff (1s, 2s, 4s, 8s, 15s). After 5 failed attempts, it stops and alerts you in the diagnostics log.
Free tier: 1 device. Plus/Founder tier: 5 devices. You can view and revoke devices from the Account tab in the desktop app. Revoking a device immediately removes its WireGuard peer from all edge nodes.

Yes. Go to the Servers tab, click Add Server, and paste your .conf file content into the Import field. AetherVPN will parse the endpoint, public key, and DNS settings. Imported private keys are stored in the DPAPI vault, not in plaintext.
No. We do not log, store, or monitor the websites you visit, DNS queries you make, or IP addresses you connect to. Edge nodes run with volatile zero-logging rules. See our privacy policy for the full technical details.
